Grants fund projects that encourage the construction and development of water-related projects and provide a public benefit. The projects must conserve, manage, develop or preserve Montana’s renewable resources. Examples of these projects include assisting small, privately owned water or wastewater systems meeting Safe Drinking Water Act regulations, high-hazard private dam improvements or replacement of private septic systems to comply with local government requirements.
Maximum Award Amount
25% of the project cost or $5,000 whichever is less.
Cost Matching
75% of total project cost.

Any individual, association, partnership, or corporation (both for-profit and nonprofit).
